In the south west of Tanzania most farmers plant trees on their private lands for timber. The Mgololo tree planter association has approached farip with this idea: They want to build their capacity to provide their growing trees as security for getting loans. For that purpose they want to start with a forest caretaker who runs his own commercial nursery that specializes on indigenous tree species.
