"Active Ventures" are ideas that are being implemented and tested by those who are interested to earn money with them. The tests usually go through achieving technical proof of concept, then operational proof of concept, then economic proof of concept and finally scaling-up proof of concept. The objective finally is to achieve a businessplan for a start-up venture that can be invested in. We expect only about half of all active ventures to achieve that goal. That is okay because rural innovatiors must have the chance to work it out and thereby maybe get another idea that can lead to success.
